Dr. Deborah Bannister

Her Eminence Ambassador Pastor Dr. Deborah P. Bannister, M.Div, D.D., G.P.P. holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology, a Master of Divinity, and Advanced Chaplaincy certification. She also earned an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity and is a Graduate Pastoral Psychotherapist (G.P.P.). Currently, she is pursuing a Naturopathic Doctorate Degree, a Ph.D. in Holistic Medicine and Healing Nutrition, and a second Master's in Pastoral Studies at Oakwood University—demonstrating her deep commitment to whole-person healing: spirit, mind, and body.

As a Clinical Chaplain with the Palliative Care Team at Staten Island University Hospital, Dr. Bannister serves on both the Ethics Committee and the Cancer Committee, providing spiritual, emotional, and ethical support to patients and families during times of crisis. She also serves as the Managed Care Coordinator for the Prodigy Effect Foundation.

Dr. Bannister is a distinguished recipient of the Eminent Ambassador Peace Award, the highest Peace Ambassador honor bestowed by the United Nations. Her commitment to spiritual care, holistic healing, and compassionate service makes her an invaluable leader in Farmlife's mission of promoting sustainable agriculture and community wellness.

Through her extensive educational background in theology, pastoral care, and holistic medicine, Dr. Bannister brings a unique perspective to Farmlife's leadership team, emphasizing the interconnectedness of spiritual, physical, and environmental health in creating thriving agricultural communities.
